Happy New Year
to all of our members and their families. We hope 2009 will be a healthy,
prosperous year for everyone! We are working on several events and continue to be invited to participate
in new events. We have and continue to receive great praise for the loyalty, courtesy, professionalism
and hard work we have put into each and every event we have participated in.
Keep in mind that your dues are
due this month. Kindly send your check to the CCC post office box or give your money to a club officer.
The website business cards are up for renewal as well. Please inform us if you no longer want to
list your business in the directory, or to continue by sending the $25 annual fee no later than February. Thank
you to all who are listed.
A May or June cruise-in clam bake
is being organized. With hot cars, clams, food, drink, music and fun for the entire family planned.
We will have more details to come, and always check the website for updates.
The Rome City Wide Garage Sales
event is planned for June with our club invited to participate. Last year was a lot of fun, but the rain
forced members and their cars to go home early. A hot air balloon fund raiser this year is in the works.

The Canalfest
is underway and we have again been asked to participate. The 1st annual cruise to Canalfest
last year was a huge hit with over 40 cars participating in the cruise and over 15 cars joining us at the canal.
Thank you to the Rome Police Department and all who cruised with us.
Kruse International has invited
us and we have graciously accepted their offer to be the “car club” for their event at the Turing Stone Casino
every year. We receive such praise20from them and have so much fun in doing it. Thanks
to Kruse for the generous offer and donations!
More events are being planned
and we will be updating the website as plans become finalized.
